Digital transformation is top priority for most Chinese CEO -- but specific implementation still has a long way

In companies involved in this activity, the digital business is clearly an important strategic priorities.Nearly 70% of participants said they are headquarters of the company's board of directors or advocacy digital business, nearly half said they company CEO himself was the main advocate for digital work (figure 1).Companies are more likely to think of themselves as leaders disruptive digital technology, rather than a threat, and says they are control the digital technology to create new business models and the customer experience better.

Digital talent is in short supply, so the enterprise should pay attention to examine potential talent

As the core content of digital transformation work, companies are actively recruiting from outside digital talent, at the same time, efforts to develop digital talent within the organization.But as participants in the discussion points out, in the external recruitment and find the appropriate balance between internal training is a big challenge.Pure science and technology enterprises, said most of the participating enterprises in an external recruitment is one of their main sources of digital talent and only 3 to 2% of the enterprises in their expectations in internal development digital talent (figure 3).
